Capybara Cafe

Today the big boys went to hang out with friends from church. Dave and I took the littles to Little Zoo Garden where we had the opportunity to feed and pet capybaras, goats, a deer, tortoises, dogs, cats, and even a chinchilla and wallaby! It wasn’t really Dave and Liam’s thing, but Annabelle and I had a blast!

Each of us got a little basket full of grasses and leaves to feed the animals.

Capybaras! Dave kept calling these R.O.U.S. (Rodents of unusual size from Princess and the Bride)

Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc

We really enjoyed our stay at Crowne Plaza. It was nice to have a down day to enjoy the hotel. They have a beautiful pool, beach, kids club, game room, spa and gym. Annabelle and Liam loved to do crafts and play in the ball pit at the kids club. It cool that Caleb and Josh worked out in the gym together. All the kids loved the video games and foosball table in the game room.

Cozy couches in the lobby…such a nice place to sit and read

I’m a tea girl, but one of our waiters introduced me to coconut coffee and I love it! It’s frothy, creamy iced milk with a slight coffee favor. It was fantastic!

So many gorgeous walks on the beach in all kinds of weather!

VinWonders Theme Park

We have two days left in Phu Quoc. Today is a rainy, dreary day. But tomorrow is supposed to be worse, so off we go to an amusement park! This park had either 1 or 5 star reviews, so we really weren’t sure what to expect. Thankfully, because of the weather there were no lines, but they also wouldn’t open any rides until the rain stopped. So we just walked around. The highlight of the day was the aquarium. It’s shaped like a giant turtle and has so many fish, sharks, and rays. We rode a few rides once the rain stopped and headed back to the hotel. It was kind of a meh experience.

The kids were so creeped out by this clown, but took a picture with it anyway

Walking through Alice in Wonderland’s labyrinth

The aquarium was the best part of the park. We saw jellyfish, sharks, rays, all kinds of fish, and even penguins!

The Ferris wheel

Wrath of Zeus was the big roller coaster…so fun!
