This morning we had the opportunity to meet with a small group from the Da Nang Church of Christ. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary. Due to government regulations they are still somewhat underground. Their group of about 40 can’t meet all together so we got together with a small group at a restaurant. It’s a young church with a few married couples with young kids and singles. They were so warm, generous, and faithful. We ended up hanging out all day! We had breakfast and church together, then went out to eat at a seafood restaurant, then met up in the evening at the beach and had dinner together! We hope they didn’t feel obligated, but it was nice to go with the flow and not have to plan and figure things out. It was also great to get to know them better.

All Day Fellowship
Our church service
After our morning breakfast together we headed to…lunch! They ordered for us and I don’t really know what we ate except that it was seafood. I was so proud of all of us trying new foods. We were sucking things straight out of shells and eating mango salad with squid tentacles. Thank goodness they ordered seafood ramen so at least the kids could eat something they recognized.
Later we met up at the beach to relax and play in the waves.
Annabelle loved this family, especially their sweet 8 mo old little boy. They all commented on how friendly Annabelle was.

We stayed til sunset!
BBQ dinner with Amie and her family. She said it’s their favorite spot to go after the beach.
