We went to Angkor Wat this evening to a tall viewing point to watch the sunset. So much has changed since we were here in 2008, including guards posted all over the grounds and many more rules. One of the new rules is that kids under 12 can’t go up the steep stairs into the tower (but completely allowed to climb up the steep path leading to the tower). 🤷🏼♀️ Dave and I took turns climbing with the older boys. The views from the top were beautiful. After that we headed back into town for dinner at The Kitchen. We’re geared up and ready to wake up at 4:15am tomorrow to see Angkor Wat at sunrise!
