Thank you Caleb and Dave for today’s post title. 😂 This was a full day of adventure. We started off with a delicious breakfast, then all 8 of us hiked up to a beautiful viewpoint. We walked across rope bridges and then climbed a tall tower for views of the mountains and fields below. At one point Annabelle tried to kick ants off her shoe and lost her shoe in the ravine, but her brave Dad climbed down and rescued the sneaker.
Our hike and spectacular viewpoint. Ruby and Dave were good hiking buddies. She was so strong and brave to hike as well as she did at 3 years old.
Afterwards we took a ride up to their activities center. Ruby and Elise stayed to swim at the pool and play on the playground, while the Boyer family took another ride to the trailhead of the Nam Kat waterfall. We hiked and walked across 13 rope bridges to reach the falls! We swam in the freezing, refreshing water. Everyone except me and Liam even swam to the base of the falls. While the littles and I hiked back, Dave, Caleb, and Josh zip lined back to our vehicle. They said it was the longest, best zip line they’d ever done. We even got to watch their last two runs. It was such an awesome day! As Liam kept saying, “We’re in Jumanji!”
Beautiful drive to the trailhead
Our jungle hike! Some of the bridges were really high, but the views were stunning and we made it to the falls!
The water was freezing, but refreshing after the hike
The boys are ready to zipline
Annabelle, Liam and I hiked back down to wait for them.
The boys said it was the longest, best zip line trip they’d ever done! I’m so glad they enjoyed it!
Cutie Ruby
We spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool and enjoying drinks and a delicious pizza dinner!
