Sunday morning we went to the pool at our AirBnB condo. It was interesting to say the least. We had to go to the 3rd floor, press a doorbell to open the door which led us to the parking deck. Then a Thai security guard walked us up a flight of stairs across the parking lot to the pool. We had the whole pool to ourselves and it was so much fun. The boys introduced the littles to chicken fights and that’s all they want to do now.
Afterwards we went back to Silom Edge for lunch. The boys went back to A Ramen which they loved.
Annabelle and I got Thai Basil minced pork and vegetable spring rolls. We’re finally figuring out Thai baht and how cheap food is here. 32 baht = $1. Our spring rolls were 100 baht (about $3), Thai Basil was 75 baht (about $2) and ice cream was 19 baht ($0.75).
After lunch we went to worship with the Bangkok Christian Church. It was special to sing in both Thai and English. We listened to the lesson through translation and took communion (it was the cutest I’d ever seen). There’s something so special about being with other believers all over the world.
