After a full day, we had a delicious dinner with beautiful sunset views of the Mekong River at Ock Pop Tok. It’s also a cultural arts center so it’s full of color and interesting art pieces. Dinner was outstanding. We learned that we love river weed. It’s like a slightly thicker crunchy seaweed with garlic and sesame seeds. We ate lemongrass marinated chicken kebabs, BBQ chicken, white fish with mango salsa, and purple sticky rice. For dessert we ate mango sticky rice and was surprised when the rice was blue! It was butterfly pea flower and it was yummy with the mango. After we were happy and full, we got a ride home in a pink tuk tuk. Annabelle got to sit in the front! Tomorrow we leave for Vang Vieng. Goodbye Luang Prabang!
