Today we headed to the southern end of Phu Quoc to visit Sunset Town. We took the longest three rope cable car in the world (who knew about Vietnam and cable cars?!) over the bright turquoise water to the island of Hon Thom to spend the day at Aquatopia, an awesome water park. There were a ton of slides, playgrounds and pools. Our phones were in a locker all day so I don’t have many pictures, but it was a blast!
After a full day of water fun, we headed back to Sunset Town via cable car. We walked the streets which had a Greek/Roman feel and even a replica bell tower from Venice. We saw the Kiss Bridge and watched the evening fireworks show from Runam Cafe. The only bummer was in our rush to get back we forgot our bag of wet clothes from the water park, so we’re all down at least one bathing suit. 😞 Other than that, it was a really wonderful day!
